Novus Learning Network

The Novus Learning Network v2 for 2026

Building Schools in the Cloud — Together

Education is shifting at speed.
Families are exhausted.
Teachers are carrying impossible loads.
Founders want to help but lack access to real classrooms.
AI is reshaping the landscape faster than the system can respond.

We can no longer innovate in isolation.

NLN v2 brings educators, parents, and early-stage edtech builders into one coherent space — a place to learn from each other, pressure-test ideas, and design futures that don’t harm the children we serve.

This is not another think tank.
It is a working field — practical, relational, grounded.

🌱 What NLN v2 Is

A triadic commons where three forms of intelligence meet as equals:

  • Educators — practice, pedagogy, real-world constraints
  • Parents — relational truth, emotional insight, lived context
  • Edtech founders & researchers — imagination, prototypes, possibility

When these three groups collaborate, we stop building misaligned “solutions” and start shaping learning systems that actually help.

🔍 What We Do

Every month, NLN v2 convenes four core sessions:

1. Educator Sessions

Hybrid learning, trauma-informed practice, neurodiversity, safeguarding, Second Stack pedagogy.

2. Parent Sessions

Clarity, agency, and influence — without jargon or judgement.

3. Builder Sessions

Prototypes, open problems, user insight, reality-checks.

4. The Vesica Sessions

The whole community together, exploring:

  • What are we building?
  • Who is it for?
  • What could go wrong?
  • What could go right?

This is where coherence forms.

Why NLN v2 Exists

Because the field is fractured:

  • Tools built for schools but not with them
  • Policies written without listening to parents
  • Innovation adding pressure rather than relieving it

NLN v2 is the correction.

We join up the field to prevent harm early and support innovations that genuinely improve lives.

We stand for:

  • Relational intelligence
  • Consent-based design
  • Neurodiversity-affirming practice
  • Ethical, transparent AI
  • Learning that adapts to children, not the other way round

🧭 Who NLN v2 Is For

This network is for:

  • Teachers, SENCos, school leaders, tutors
  • Parents and carers seeking clarity and agency
  • Student founders and early-stage edtech teams
  • Anyone rethinking the future of learning in the cloud

If you’re building towards a different kind of education, this is your place.

🔮 2026: What’s Coming

  • Cross-network learning projects
  • Prototype labs for early-stage edtech
  • Parent panels influencing design
  • Verse-al frameworks for AI literacy & ethics
  • Joint whitepapers across the triad
  • Live problem-solving with The Haven, Riverside & global partners

A community capable of shaping the learning ecosystems our children will inherit.
